TOMS: Fashion Philanthropy at It's Finest

TOMS is a global fashion brand, retailing mainly shoes and accessories. They carry many options, from booties, to their classic knit flat, wedding options, vegan options, as well as sunglasses and other accessories. Their styles are cute, however that is not what is the most attractive thing about this brand. Instead, it is their One to One philanthropy. One to One works with 90+ giving partners in 70+ countries, and for each pair of shoes bought, TOMS donates another pair to someone in need. The company has helped Mayor Motiño, of Honduras to provide clean drinking water to more of his citizens, and helped Zubaida Bai of India to help carry out more safe childbirths. This company's caring attitude and the amount they give back to the world is truly inspiring to me. TOMS is not one of those brands that claims they give back, but is really only giving 1%. No, TOMS is the real deal.
